Background
Born in Austin, Texas. Lupita was raised in a small town in the hill county of Texas. Supported by her family and mentors, she graduated from Marble Falls High School with an art endorsement.

Southwestern Oklahoma State University
"Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain..."
After graduation, Lupita was accepted into Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She studied in Weatherford, Oklahoma where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with an Emphasis in Theatre Degree. Lupita participated in theatre productions at SWOSU and obtained internships during her college career. She specializes in lighting design, projection design, costume design, and scenic painting.

PASSION
Where it all began...
Lupita developed her love for the theatre during her last year of Jr. High, she was a stage manager for the UIL One Act Play. While in high school, Lupita was a part of the All-State Theatre Company for two years, where they performed at the state and national levels. Right out of high school, Lupita was an assistant to the technical director for the West Festival in Wichita Falls, TX. There she worked under the direction of Karen Baker, and technical director, Jon Clark. Lupita worked under the direction of Riley Cook and Darrin Wade during her summer internships at the Oklahoma Shakespeare Festival. She started as a Master Electrician and came back the following year as a Lighting Assistant and Projection Designer. After graduation, Lupita continues to apply for Fine Arts jobs and opportunities. She hopes to expand her love and knowledge for the theatre.
